Call It What It Was

Inspired by: “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”

In “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” the speaker declares that “you never called it what it was” until it was too late. In as much detail as possible, describe a situation when it would have made a difference if someone (possibly you) had admitted something. What didn’t get said? And what was happening instead of that declaration or admission?

Optional: include at least five rhyming words in close proximity (for example, hair, stairs, prayer, rare, there; or me, tee-ball, keys, patriarchy, keychain). Then try to expand what you’ve written so it takes approximately ten minutes to read aloud.
